• With service providers who help us operate the platform, including Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payment processing for subscriptions and, where you enable it, customer payments), Resend (delivery of transactional and account emails), and FormKeep (intake of quote requests submitted through your website form). These providers process data only to perform services for us.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or government requests
• To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our users
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you)

4.1 HomeShieldIQ Companion App

CheckBackDaily connects with HomeShieldIQ, a free companion app we offer to your customers. If you use this integration, certain information you record about a customer — such as their service history (visit dates, services performed, and amounts) and job photos — may be shared into that customer's HomeShieldIQ account, matched by their email address, so they can view their own records. This sharing is a core function of the integration and is done to provide the service to you and your customers. Customer contact details submitted through HomeShieldIQ's "Find a Pro" feature may likewise be shared with you as a lead.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and customer data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
